I've gotten back into creative writing, including poems. I've noticed I seem to have a lot of poetry with a Rory theme. What with the dullness and depressing nature of pandemic,it seems Rory's one positive that gets the creativity going. I was wondering who else had produced something Rory inspired and (in the spirit of growing this new forum) maybe work could be shared on this thread? I will have to sit and do a bunch of typing up first with my stuff 😂

I've done a couple of drawings of Rory during lockdown. They're not great but I really enjoyed the process.

Hello Pebbles, I think that is a wonderful idea. Rory was so recognized for his guitar playing but when you get into his songwriting it was beautiful poetry. His imagery was wonderful. Songs like Moonchild and I Fall Apart which I think is one of the most beautiful love songs ever. I have gotten back into singing after a long hiatus and am learning some Rory songs for my repertoire - the more bluesy ones. First one I am learning is Calling Card - a great blues song. Please keep us up to date with your poetry and drawings. I think Rory is a wonderful muse. Best from Toronto.
