Irish Tour '74 is not only my favorite Rory album, it is my all time favorite album of all time by any artist! If we were to only list our favorite Rory "studio" albums, mine would be Photo-Finish.

Today is his first album but really loves most of them too. (Must say I'm a new rory's lover so I've not heard his latest album yet🙃 but I'm enjoying the journey

Part of the lure of music is in the emotions that it evokes, so choosing a favorite really depends on what mood I'm in, and whether that is something I want to change. Rory's first solo album is a favorite, but my fav go-to Rory album these days is the multi-disc Blues album (and I especially like how it bears the old Chess label. I bet Rory is tickled to see that) That album isn't on the poll, but it has become my favorite all-around Rory album.

I can't decide between Irish Tour 74 and Checkshirt Wizard for favourite live. Photo Finish and Calling Card are two of my favourite studio albums.

So hard to choose. All of them offer something new,with a huge diversity of musical styles. Rory's debut album with the amazing black and white cover, Fresh Evidence and Defender are up at the top of my list. The last two showed me a different Rory. I never get tired ofRory's music, it hasn't aged and some of it was quite prophetic (Born on the wrong side of time).Rory is just as relevant today and his popularity will never wain

Really hard choices. I love Photo Finish,, a great mixture of rock and blues. Irish Tour, who can argue with that? Tattoo as well.
