Hi everyone, Today is the anniversary of Rory’s spectacular performance at the Festival interceltique de Lorient (Inter-Celtic Festival of Lorient) in 1994. We celebrate this occasion by publishing Part Two of our retrospect of Rory’s appearances at four European festivals in the summer of 1994. In our article, we had the pleasure of chatting with Breton musician Dan Ar Braz, as well as one of the official photographers for the Inter-Celtic Festival from 1992 – 1996, Nathalie Simon. The post also covers Rory's concert at the SDF Festival in Stuttgart on 21st August 1994. Here's the link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/2022/08/rewriting-rory-9-part-2-roan-bull.htmlWe've also published the complete interview with Dan Ar Braz on our website. It can be accessed at the following link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/p/interview-with-dan-ar-braz-breton.htmlThere are so many Rory milestones in August that our next blog post will be out next week already, with a special on Rory's appearance at the Temple Bar Blues Festival 1992. Happy reading! Lauren and Rain ❤

Hi everyone, As we mentioned in our message last week, this month is a busy one in terms of Rory's 85-95 achievements, so we are delighted to release our second article of the month today to coincide with the anniversary of Rory’s performance at the Temple Bar Blues Festival in Dublin, 1992. Our article covers everything you need to know about both Rory’s guitar Masterclass (which occurred three days before the festival at the Guinness Hop Store), as well as the Temple Bar Blues Festival. For the article, we had the privilege of speaking to those who attended both events. Here is the link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/2022/08/rewriting-rory-10-like-phoenix-from.htmlHappy reading! Lauren and Rain

Hi everyone, We are delighted to finally share with you this month's blog post, Part 1 of a 3-part series on Rory's final international tour in 1991. Here is the link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/2022/09/rewriting-rory-11-part-1-vasco-da-gama.htmlIn this first installment, we explore Japan. As there is scant information out there on Rory in Japan despite having toured the country several times throughout his career, our post is not just limited to the 1991 tour in this case; it takes in the 1974, 1975 and 1977 tours as well. We hope you enjoy it! Part 2 (Australia) will be out next month, followed by Part 3 (USA) in November. If you are looking for further reading, we have added some more translated articles to the 1985, 1986, 1989, 1992 and 1995 sections of our site too since last month, so we encourage you to have a browse 🙂 Wishing you all a lovely weekend and many thanks for the continued support! Lauren and Rain

Great article. Definitely a few Aussies fans, I remember going past a house one night in Brisbane suburb of Rocklea and hearing Rory's music coming out through the walls.

Great article. Definitely a few Aussies fans, I remember going past a house one night in Brisbane suburb of Rocklea and hearing Rory's music coming out through the walls. Nice! Thanks for sharing! ------ Hi everyone, Today marks the anniversary of Rory's fantastic concert at the Cork Opera House in 1987. To celebrate the occasion, we are delighted to publish a selection of previously unseen photographs from the concert, kindly shared with us by fan Mark Gillis. Along with the photographs, we include a short reflection of the concert. Here is the link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/p/previously-unpublished-photos-of-rory.htmlWe hope you enjoy it! Warm wishes, Lauren and Rain

Hi everyone, We are delighted to share with you the third and final installment in our ‘Vasco da Gama’ of rock series, this time focusing on Rory and the US. As Rory toured the US so many times over his career, unlike the Japan and Australia articles, we’ve decided to focus solely on the 1991 tour here, doing our best to cover every date in as much depth as we can. We hope you enjoy it. Here’s the link: rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/2022/11/rewriting-rory-11-part-3-vasco-da-gama.htmlFor those of you who may not have seen on social media, we celebrated our one-year anniversary on 13th November. We wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our followers for their kindness and support. We hope you’ve enjoyed all our content over the past twelve months. Have a lovely weekend! Lauren and Rain

Hi everyone, We hope that you all had a lovely Christmas. As a thank you for all your support this year, we wanted to send you a little gift for the holiday season. When we were carrying out research for our Australia post back in October, we came across a 1975 Rory interview in the archives of the State Library of New South Wales. The Library very kindly digitised it for us and recently sent us a copy. Although we're not allowed to share the original audio file, we have transcribed it for you. It's a great interview where Rory talks about all sorts of topics. We hope you enjoy it! rewritingrorygallagher.blogspot.com/p/previously-unpublished-1975-interview.htmlWishing you all the best for the new year, Lauren and Rain
